AEC-Q100-qualified 6-GHz SPDT switch for automotive RF

Skyworks’ SKYA21003 is a CMOS silicon-on insulator (SOI) single pole, double throw (SPDT) switch that is intended for automotive LTE cellular and general purpose RF applications.

The switch is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 Qualified with guaranteed RF performance across extended temperature limits, for LTE cellular telematics modems, remote keyless entry devices, infotainment systems, automated toll transponders, garage door openers, GPS/navigation platforms, and other wireless control solutions. The Silicon on Insulator (SOI) process technology ensures excellent RF performance without compromising ESD. Features include a wide frequency range (0.1 to 6 GHz), supporting popular ISM Bands, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, as well as future cellular bands, and power handling capability (P1 dB = 38 dBm), meeting the need for higher power carrier LTE aggregation telematics designs. The SKYA21003 has high-linearity performance and low insertion loss with an operating temperature range from -40 to +105 °C, allowing for operation in challenging automotive operating environments. It is available in a compact quad flat no-lead (QFN) 2 x 2 x 0.55 mm package.
