Anritsu test solution cuts V2X DSRC validation time

December 11, 2017 // By Christoph Hammerschmidt
Japanese measurement gear manufacturer Anritsu has secured the support from V2X chip expert Autotalks to develop a comprehensive test solution for all IEEE802.11p DSRC chipsets designed for V2X use cases from this chipmaker. With Anritsu’s new MT8870A wireless test platform, users of Autotalks V2X chips save test time and money, the company claims.

The joint effort is part of the ecosystem preparation for the DSRC-based V2X deployment, ready for mass production in 2019. It was designed to meet every V2X application requirement with the most stringent performance specifications. DSRC V2X chipsets are a secure high-performance V2X communication solution designed to make road traffic more safe and efficient, as has been confirmed by a recent study .
