The Kinetis EA Series MCUs are based on a 48MHz ARM Cortex M0+ core with a single‑cycle 32x32‑bit multiplier, and is automotive AEC‑Q100 grade 1 qualified. Up to 128KBytes of Flash, 16KBytes of SRAM, and 256Bytes of EEPROM are available. All devices within the Kinetis EA series offer pin-to-pin scalability across the entire Kinetis EA series for increased hardware and software reuse. Kinetis EA series MCUs are designed with ESD/EMC in mind for strong noise immunity and low radiated emissions.
The Freescale Kinetis EA Microcontrollers are 32-bit microcontrollers designed for harsh environments. They can operate over an extended temperature range from ‑40°C to +125°C. The series is capable of driving high-current motors and components with a voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V, and provides advanced automotive communication through a rich peripheral set including CAN 2.0b, LIN, SPI, and I2C connectivity.
