Offered in two parts, the webcast series will provide examples of how to achieve ISO 26262 compliance using a case study from a major automotive company, and show how the VectorCAST software test solution can help organisations fulfil the requirements. The first webcast, entitled “How the Software Testing Requirements of ISO 26262 Influence Product Quality at a Major Automotive Company” will be held on September 26, 2013 at 11am EST (4pm BST/17:00 CET), and the second webinar entitled “Using VectorCAST to Achieve ISO 26262 Compliance” will convene on October 3 at the same tim.

In part one of the ISO 26262 series, viewers will learn from Mr. Sandro Bretterklieber, founder of REBUG GmbH in Austria, who will describe a major automotive supplier’s experience implementing the standard, and cover these topics:

– Principle components of ISO 26262 and how they impact software testing

– Theory and practice – review of each ISO requirement and how it improves product quality, while keeping testing efficient

– Where this company is headed, having adopted ISO 26262

In part two of the series, attendees will see how organisations can meet ISO 26262 embedded software testing requirements using the VectorCAST software test solution — meeting rigorous road vehicle functional safety standards found in part 4 and part 6 of the ISO 26262 standard. In addition, these topics will be covered:
