Various WLAN applications (access point, client), Bluetooth audio streaming and Bluetooth Low Energy are part of the evaluation platform. This platform is part of the Panasonic and OpenSynergy IoT strategy. The combination of WLAN and Bluetooth offers maximum flexibility for connectivity in various industrial applications.

The partner companies have developed a common demonstrator to show the benefits of the PAN 9026 combo hardware that has been introduced at the Electronica in Munich. The demonstrator features

  • Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP sink)
  • Bluetooth Low Energy Beaconing (Advertising)
  • Wi-Fi Functions:

o Access Point with Web Interface

o Support two WiFi connections

o Proxy Support

Customers can benefit from the module by reducing design, testing, and calibration costs, thereby decreasing time to market compared to other solutions. The supplied software demonstrates essential features of WLAN, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy.
